Ellen Greene
(Terry) is a highly regarded and critically acclaimed actress, singer and performer in motion pictures, stage and television. She first came to success as Chrissy in David Rabe's IN THE BOOM BOOM ROOM, for Joe Papp at the Public Theatre. She went on to star in Alan Menken's and Howard Ashman's LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, where she originated the role of Audry singing "Suddenly Seymour" and "Somewhere That's Green". She co-starred in the movie version of LITTLE SHOP, her costars included Rick Moranis, Steve Martin, John Candy, Jim Belushi, Bill Murray and Christopher Guest. At Lincoln Center she appeared in THE THREEPENNY OPERA opposite Raul Julia and was nominated for a Tony Award for her performance as Pirate Jenny. Also on Broadway she appeared in THE LITTLE PRINCE AND THE AVIATOR, and RACHEL LILY ROSEMBLUM. Her many film credits include NEXT STOP GREENWICH VILLAGE, PUMP UP THE VOLUME, NAKEN GUN 33 1/3, and THE PROFESSIONAL and numerous television appearances. She is currently working on a new album with her composer-accompanyist husband, Christian Klikovits, based on her recent successful cabaret stint in NYC, called TORCH!
