He has worked in over thirty feature films and made-for-television movies, and as a guest star or recurring character on many of the leading television series over the last 15 years. Collaborators include John Sayles, Robert Duvall, Barry Levinson, James Caan, and Stanley Tucci, among many others. His theatre work encompasses leading regional theatres, such as The Guthrie Theatre and Actors Theatre of Louisville, not to mention starring off-Braodway, in London, and at the Edinburgh Festival (winner of a Fringe First Award) as Richard Nixon in The Basement Tapes.
