SEASON TICKETS for our 2010-2011 Season:
We are very happy and proud to present this coming season; a season that we
believe will bring our subscribers much pleasure and entertainment. We open with the 1982 Pulitzer Prize
winner by Charles Fuller, “A Soldier’s Play”. It is a taut drama that explores the racial
conflicts that may obstruct a murder investigation on a 1944 Military base. “It is almost impossible
not to be mesmerized.” Curtain Up
Following “A Soldier’s
Play” we present a new musical comedy fresh off of a successful Broadway run. We are one of the first
houses to get the rights to present {title of show} and we are very excited about this fun, fun, story full of great new tunes.
“The kind of postmodern entertainment that wraps you in an ever tighter hug”. Washington Post
In February we will present the world premier of a new comedy by Peter Quilter.
Peter was the playwright of our very successful run of “Glorious” back in 2008. Mr.
Quilter has a new play opening on the West End of London this coming September so we consider ourselves extremely fortunate
to be able to host the world premier of his terrific comedy “A Night At The Oscars”.
Speaking of comedy, the
laughs continue with our April/May production of “The Scene”, by Theresa Rebeck. Theresa Rebeck
is one of the great playwrights of this (or any other) age. She is insightful, clear, and in this play,
hilarious. An evening full of laughs awaits you when you come to this play. “A sharp witted, sharp elbowed comedy about the savage economies of sex
and show business in contemporary Manhattan”. New York Times
