TALL WOMEN

Malibu Stage Repertory announces the production
of Edward Albee’s 1994 Pulitzer Prize winning play, “Three Tall Women”. Performances
will begin with a preview on February 11th, at 8pm. Opening night is February 12th
and the show will run through March 7th with 8PM shows every Friday and Saturday and 5PM shows on Sundays.
Sunday Feb. 14th will be a Valentines Day special event with complimentary flowers for all ladies in attendance
and complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres. This is the third play of Malibu Stage Company’s
2009-2010 season. Nancy Little will direct the work of this great American playwright.
Ms. Little has appeared in several productions at the Malibu Stage Company but this will be her debut as a director
for Malibu Stage. “The greatest play Albee has ever written”, (Boston
Globe) will come to life featuring the cast of
Lauri Christi, Allison Coutts-Jordan, Eve Sigall, and Swen Temmel. Deborah LaGorce-Kramer will costume the show, with sets by Ralph Romo and lighting
by Richard Johnson. Terrence Davis, (Ovation Award Nominee) will be composing original music for the show.
Diane Peterson and Richard Johnson will produce.
“Three Tall Women” is a poignant, sometimes comical, look at our aging process through the eyes of a
92 year old woman as she reflects on her life with younger versions of herself. She reconsiders her choices,
lovers, and family with the wisdom that time has wrought. This play contains adult themes and materials.
